The FiRa Consortium promotes the development and adoption of UWB secured fine ranging and positioning capabilities of interoperable UWB devices. A key component of this mission is ensured by the development of test specifications and a certification program for UWB based on FiRa-specified PHY Conformance Test Specifications.
The LitePoint PHY test solution is a Validated Test Tool for the FiRa Certification Program. It includes the IQgig-UWB, which offers complete UWB physical-layer testing with all signal generation, analysis, and processing contained in a single instrument combined IQfact+ test automation software. IQfact+ application software provides complete automation for PHY conformance testing including tester control, Device Under Test (DUT) control, and data collection.
This test solution is available for Authorized Test Labs (ATLs) for PHY FiRa Conformance Certification testing or FiRa members as part of pre-certification testing.
